14-Day Rehab FAQs

It depends on what you’re addicted to and the severity of your addiction. For some, 14 days is enough to overcome addiction. However, for most, it can take longer than 14 days to fully overcome addiction.

This is why, in our 14-day rehab programme, we primarily focus on drug and alcohol detox, helping you to overcome physical dependence. We then transition onto our 28-day primary care programme, where we get to the root of our addiction, teach coping skills and help you break the physical dependence, for good.

The cost of a 14-day rehab programme depends entirely on the clinic and programme you choose. A 14-day stay at an inpatient rehab clinic can cost anything from £4,000 to £10,000, whereas outpatient rehab can cost around £1,000 per week. You can also opt for a larger treatment plan, consisting of detox, primary support and ongoing support, with the 14-day programme being part of the larger rehab package. At Gladstones Clinic, 14 days of residential rehab will cost you approximately £7,400. Contact us today or request a callback to find out how we can help you at Gladstones Clinic and how much it will cost you.

We recommend looking through our treatment pages to learn more about the rehab services we provide, our facilities, and how we can help you. To get started, fill out a contact form here or call us on 0808 258 2350 to speak with one of our friendly team members.

Once you’ve enquired with us, you’ll undergo an initial assessment with an admissions coordinator and then a more in-depth assessment with a nurse – both of which can be completed over the phone. If possible, we’d take a blood test beforehand, but this can also be done on-site. We’d need an official diagnosis, which can be a part of a medical consultation if you need our support urgently. We’ll then discuss costs, insurance, and how you’ll be paying for treatment – and then you will begin your recovery journey!

Absolutely – although a large portion of the 14-day treatment will consist of detoxification, we offer therapy as part of our 14-day rehab plan and our 28-day rehab plan. This may involve a combination of group therapy, one-to-one therapy, and holistic therapy. Therapy can help you to learn more about yourself and your addiction, including the roots and addiction triggers. It can also teach you effective coping strategies to help overcome the psychological addiction and prevent relapse.

When you begin a 14-day rehab plan with Gladstones, you will spend 14 days in a residential rehab centre and receive the treatment you need to overcome your drug or alcohol addiction for good. You’ll have your own space, including a bedroom and en-suite bathroom, to detox from drugs and/ or alcohol and overcome the physical dependence before addressing the psychological addiction. You will undergo therapy, and receive support from our friendly team at Gladstones Clinic from start to finish.

It depends entirely on your preferences and circumstances – our 14-day rehab programme is perfect if you have a mild addiction. However, if you have a moderate to severe addiction, we recommend a longer treatment plan, such as our 28-day rehab programme.

This is because 14 days may not be long enough to overcome addiction and prepare you for life without drugs and alcohol. 14 days, however, is long enough to detox from the substance you’re addicted to and begin therapy. Our 14-day plan can be a good option combined with our other plans – for example, our 7-day plan for a detox, our 14-day plan for continued detox and introduction to therapy, and then our 28-day plan for continued therapy and ongoing support. Speak with an expert at Gladstones Clinic today to determine the best treatment plan for you.
