What to Expect From 14 Day Rehab Treatment

A 14-day rehab plan is designed to be a short but intensive recovery course, addressing both the physical and mental reliance you have on the substance.

We break our treatment down into two parts, ensuring you know exactly what to expect at each step. When you join us, you’ll be guided through the following by our dedicated team:

  • Detoxing the Body: First, we help you to remove the substance from your body. Whether that’s drugs, alcohol, or a prescription medication, detoxing helps to make the treatment process smoother.

  • Treatment for the Addiction:  Once we’ve completed the detox stage, we can begin treatment. Here, you’ll undergo therapy, build healthy coping mechanisms, and receive around-the-clock support from our team.

When you begin our 14-day rehab plan, you’ll spend two weeks in our residential rehab centre, receiving personalised treatment tailored to your needs by our on-site care team. You’ll have your own space, including a bedroom and en-suite, throughout your time with us.

14-Day Rehab FAQs

Our 14-day rehab program is designed for those with a mild addiction. Whether this is right for you depends entirely on your preferences, circumstances, and needs.

For some, two weeks is enough time to detox their body of the addictive substance, as well as begin therapy to learn coping mechanisms to rely on once they’ve left our care. However, for others, a longer stay and more intensive treatment are needed.

Before you start rehab, we’ll assess you to work out the best plan for you. From there, we can decide whether 14 days will be enough, if you’re better suited to our longer 28-day rehab, or if a combined approach of all three services is best – 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days.

Speak with an expert at Gladstones Clinic today to get started on the right path to recovery for you.

The short answer is – yes, for some people, 14 days is long enough to recover from addiction.

However, whether it’s long enough for you personally to recover depends on what you’re addicted to and the severity of your addiction. While some can detox and overcome their addiction in just 14 days, for others, it can take longer to do both.

That’s why, in our 14-day rehab program, we primarily focus on detox, helping you to overcome physical dependence. We can then transition you onto our 28-day primary care plan, where we get to the root of addiction, teach coping skills, and help you break the physical dependence for good.

At Gladstones Clinic, 14 days of residential rehab will cost you approximately £7,400. However, the end price can differ depending on any additional options you choose.

You can opt for a larger treatment plan or extend your time with us to 28 days, which will increase the final figure. However, you may feel that 14 days is long enough to recover from your addiction and start a sober lifestyle.

The best way to get an accurate cost estimate is to contact us or request a callback. Together, we can find out the best way to help, as well as how much it’ll cost.

Absolutely – although a large portion of the treatment will consist of detoxification, we also include therapy as part of our 14-day rehab plan.

Rehab is often a combination of group, one-to-one, and holistic therapy. Here, you’ll learn more about yourself and your addiction, including the roots and triggers. You’ll also develop effective coping strategies to help overcome the psychological addiction and prevent relapse.
