Drug and Alcohol Rehab Wiltshire

Drug and Alcohol Rehab Clinic near Wiltshire

Gladstones Clinic offers world-class drug, alcohol, other substance abuse, and addictive behaviour rehabilitation services at our fully residential facilities. With two of these facilities, Bristol and the Cotswolds, within easy reach of most of Wiltshire, we’ve helped people from all over the county reclaim control of their lives and permanently break free from their addictions.

For more than 20 years, our highly-trained and experienced addiction specialists at Gladstones Clinic have honed and developed our skills and processes, perfecting our broad-spectrum, integrative, and non-12-step approach to beating addiction. Our approach’s long-term success rate speaks for itself, having successfully helped thousands turn their lives around.

Whether looking for addiction rehab services for yourself or someone else in the Wiltshire area, Gladstones Clinic stands ready to provide you with the expert assistance, proven processes and methodologies, and understanding required to break free from addiction.

We provide, among others, the following services:

Private Residential Detox and Rehab

Gladstones Clinic specialises in small-group primary care for drug and alcohol abuse. We understand that going through the detox process can be a painful, uncomfortable, and traumatic experience, so having trained, experienced, and professional personnel by your side during this time can make all the difference.

We provide both medical intervention and therapeutic assistance around the clock, something that simply isn’t available when going through these processes at home, and, in effect, significantly reduce the pain and discomfort of detox. This significantly increases the chances of successfully undergoing the process.

Our residential facilities only have a limited number of beds available by design. We believe that detox and rehab should be as calming, restful, and stress-free as possible, and constantly bumping into new faces is counterproductive to this. On the other hand, having a small group of people going through rehab at the same time is extremely valuable as you share your experiences, victories, and motivation.

Many of our staff members, including some in senior positions, have successfully managed to overcome their own addictions. This means our staff have a deep-rooted understanding of the challenges and difficulties associated with rehab and are able to provide individualised and compassionate care based on this understanding.

Our nearest drug and alcohol rehab clinics to Wiltshire

Cotswolds

Our primary residential drug and alcohol rehab clinic is located in the Cotswolds, about an hour's drive from Wiltshire. Our 12-bed clinic is fully-equipped and staffed to provide medical supervision during detox and a wide range of primary treatments and therapies, as well as specialist services, teenage rehab, and intervention services.

Bristol

Gladstones Clinic Bristol offers both non-residential primary care for those suffering from addiction and mental health concerns, as well as secondary care and aftercare services aimed at providing ongoing support and therapy to those who have completed primary care. It acts as a central hub for our community, with many of our members regularly meeting in Bristol.

London

Our London clinic provides non-residential daycare for drug and alcohol addiction as well as mental health services. It also acts as another Gladstones community hub, providing a safe haven where former residential patients get together to celebrate sobriety and success. Our London clinic is ideal for Wiltshire residents who spend a lot of time in our capital.

Gladstones Clinic: Helping Wiltshire beat addiction and mental health disorder

We do more than just help people recover from drug and alcohol abuse. The fight against substance abuse is multifaceted, and we provide a range of services to help individuals and families get a loved one into treatment, involve the whole family in the treatment process, and provide lasting and ongoing post-treatment support.

Intervention Services

Gladstones offers specialist intervention services to help plan and execute interventions with a higher success rate than those who go about it alone. Our trained addiction and intervention specialists have experience dealing with the commonly overlooked pitfalls of intervention and can greatly improve the odds of your loved one accepting that they need help and seeking it out.

Family Therapy

Families heal from addiction faster when the whole family is part of the process. Our Family Workshops and Wellness Programmes have helped hundreds of British families rebuild lost trust, create more nurturing environments for rehabilitation, and understand how to be a part of their loved one’s healing process. From experience, we’ve seen that families that are more involved in the rehab process have a much better chance of seeing their mothers, fathers, siblings, or children successfully beat addiction in the long run.

Aftercare

Our aftercare programme is as good as it gets, with all of our former clients automatically qualifying to join our lifelong aftercare services programme. At any time, any former patient feeling vulnerable, in doubt, or at risk, is welcome to contact us for support, understanding, and advice. Our clinics open their doors for in-person sessions on Saturdays, as well as providing online counselling services during the week.

Our Treatment Philosophy

At Gladstones Clinic, we pride ourselves on offering the most comprehensive and effective addiction treatment options. Our treatment philosophy is centred around abstinence-based, integrative, and holistic rehabilitation, which combines medical and psychiatric therapies, modern counselling techniques, and proven alternative therapies such as meditation and yoga.

Addiction is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that affects each individual differently. There simply isn’t an effective, one-size-fits-all solution for treating addictive behaviour. That’s why our experienced multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists and medical professionals take the time to uncover the root cause of each patient’s addiction before developing personalised treatment strategies. By focusing on the “disconnection treatment model” instead of the “chemical hook model,” we provide targeted and individualised therapy models that include Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies (CBT & DBT Therapy), group and one-on-one counselling, and transactional analysis.

We believe that successful rehabilitation requires a personalised approach that addresses the unique needs of each patient. Our commitment to understanding the root cause of addiction and creating a personalised strategy has resulted in our outstanding long-term rehabilitation success rate.

Our Rooms and Facilities

Successful long-term drug and alcohol rehab is dependent on a large number of factors. While some, like a solid understanding of addiction and medically proven techniques and methodologies, are obvious, there is actually much more at play. One of these factors includes going through the detox and primary care phases in an environment that is optimised for the process. Gladstones has spared no expense in ensuring that all of our clinics meet this criteria.

All of our private room residential care facilities are as calming and restful as can be. They’re light and airy, well-furnished, and feature all of the amenities you’ll need to make your stay with us as comfortable and productive as possible. You can expect clean and well-maintained common spaces, meeting and counselling rooms, and comfortable outdoor spaces with welcoming gardens.

During detox and first few weeks of primary care, patients aren’t allowed to leave the clinic, for obvious reasons; however, after a few weeks, we take supervised trips to nearby parks, gardens, or recreational areas to stretch our legs and get some sun and fresh air.

With proper nutrition playing such an important role in addiction recovery (nutritional imbalances or deficiencies can cause cravings and psychological effects), we employ experienced and talented full-time chefs to prepare all your meals during your stay. This includes three square meals daily, as well as fruit, snacks, and refreshments during the day. Having cooked for patients from all cultures and backgrounds over the years, our chefs have built up knowledge of a huge range of cuisines and culinary practices and can cater to a wide range of culinary restrictions and requirements.
